Mainly looking for Nvidia cards that don’t require external power. So much so that I’m getting a ton of email about whether we can use the Mac mini for video editing.Looking for recommendations for a good graphics card for my Mac Pro. And this upgrade turned a diminutive system into a powerhouse. I have just purchased a new MacBook Pro and am planning to get the Razer Core X - I am using my Mac for video editing with Premiere Pro (not gaming) - I understand that the cards that are currently compatible with this setup are as follows - AMD Radeon RX 570 AMD Radeon RX580 AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100.And, like all computers, that may require more money than you have to spend.But the future Mac Pro isn’t due until 2018, so there’s a good chance that a new, more powerful graphics card will replace the Titan Xp. The Frontier Edition is hard to come by and expensive, though it has 16GB of HBM2.Like all computers, you get the best possible performance by buying a fully-tricked out, top of the line system. Though, AMD is expected to announce new graphics chips in about a week, so you might want to wait for that, as it may reduce the prices of Vega 64 cards out there (new/used). Nope, Core i7 does not have seven cores nor does Core i3 have three cores. For video editing, more RAM is better. Video editing and compression, especially at larger frame sizes, requires a beefy processor.
